Yass sits inside our established Canberra service area — we have been installing here and across the surrounding district since 2021.

Yass is in Essential Energy’s network, which works differently to the ACT next door. Essential’s export limit is 5 kW, and on three-phase supply that 5 kW is the limit for the whole system rather than per phase. That is a meaningful difference from Evoenergy across the border, and it changes how a larger system should be specified.
